I have had many opportunities to speak to many businesses and groups around the country. My story is one of setting goals, overcoming obstacles and relentless focus to be the best that i can be. I enjoy sharing my Olympic story. The fees generated from speaking help me to off set some of my coasts for training and equipment. What a great experience! I can remember watching Kaillie win gold, and how excited I was. When Kaillie played the video of her gold medal run, an instant wave of memories and excitement come over me..and to be honest, a little emotion. Then she started to tell her story - the work ethic, the trials and tribulations, the commitment...total devotion to her passion, it was inspiring to hear. An incredibly humbling moment when Kaillie talk about how she shares her accomplishment with all of Canada, I felt a great sense of pride and motivation. I will follow her training closely over the next few years, and will feel connected to Kaillie's journey as she prepares for Russia 2014. - JR
